By using this website or engaging in services provided by Alongside Learning, you agree to the following terms.

Services Overview

Alongside Learning provides homeschool facilitation and tutoring services designed to support student learning. Services are educational in nature and are intended to provide guidance, structure, and support.

Homeschool Facilitation

Homeschool facilitation includes the development of a structured weekly learning plan, guidance for implementation, and ongoing support.

Families remain responsible for implementing the learning plan, supporting their child’s learning, and maintaining compliance with all applicable Arizona homeschooling laws.

Homeschool facilitation services are offered on a semester basis. Enrollment includes a commitment for the full semester term in order to support consistency and meaningful progress.

Tutoring Services

Tutoring is provided through one-on-one sessions focused on specific areas of need.

Sessions are planned based on student needs and may take place in person or online. Tutoring services do not include the creation of a full weekly learning plan or homeschool structure.

Payment

Payment for all services is required in advance.

Homeschool facilitation is billed on a monthly basis and must be paid prior to the start of each month. Monthly payments reserve your child’s place and include ongoing planning, support, and guidance.

Tutoring services may be purchased as individual sessions or as part of a multi-session package. All sessions and packages must be paid in advance.

Scheduling

Services are scheduled in advance based on availability.

Tutoring sessions are held at agreed-upon times. Homeschool facilitation support is provided throughout the week during designated support times via email, phone, or virtual platforms.

Cancellations & Missed Sessions

At least 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a tutoring session.

Late cancellations will still be charged, as that time has been reserved for your child. Missed sessions without notice will also be charged.

For homeschool facilitation, support is provided on an ongoing basis. Missed check-ins or unused support time are not carried over or rescheduled.

Commitment & Early Termination

Homeschool facilitation services are offered on a semester basis. While payments are made monthly, enrollment is for the full semester.

If a family chooses to discontinue services before the end of the semester, a minimum of 30 days’ notice is required. Payment is still required for the final month of service.

No Guarantees

While Alongside Learning is committed to supporting student growth and progress, individual outcomes may vary. No specific academic results or outcomes are guaranteed.

Not a School

Alongside Learning is not a school, private school, or accredited educational institution.

Families remain solely responsible for their child’s education, including curriculum choices and compliance with Arizona homeschooling laws and requirements.

Communication

Communication may occur via email, phone, or virtual platforms. By engaging in services, you consent to communication through these methods.

Changes to Terms

These terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of services indicates acceptance of any updates.
